Please note that the studios are located beneath the family home and form part of the wider development of Tabah Ubud Villas, where construction is currently paused. Unsuitable for families or groups. No parties, no music after 11 pm.
Location
Located on Jalan Tirta Tawar, Tabah Ubud is an 8-minute scooter ride or a 30-minute walk into town. Pleasantly green and tranquil compared with the main town centre, the neighbourhood is home to some lovely cafes, restaurants, and local businesses, many within walking distance, including laundry and grocery stores. Tabah Ubud is around 1 - 1.5 hours from Ngurah Rai International Airport by car.
Creative Retreats
At Tabah Ubud, we are ideally looking for creative and artistic individuals who would benefit from drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape of the studios, treating it as a place to retreat and truly relax. Our network of Balinese and artist friends means we can assist you with almost anything you want to explore, experience, and research on the island.
Access
To access the studios, you will need to use the shared external staircase, which the family sometimes uses. As with most places in Ubud, the terrain is steep and has many stairs. Unsuitable for wheelchair access.
